Hi,

While creating my EE profile, I chose Yes for Relatives in Canada as my Mother's real sister is staying in Edmonton, Alberta on a PR visa. She got her PR this year in January. I created the profile in first week of February.

Now, I got PT interest from Ontario on 8th February and have dispatched the application on 17th March. Ontario nominee form asked do you have relatives in Canada and I thought about this and decided to choose No. The rationale behind doing this was that I was applying for Ontario Province Nomination and disclosing my relatives in Alberta province might have created a doubt in assessing authority mind that I might not stick to Ontario and may settle in Province. I basically did not wanted to create any doubts in their mind.

My deadline to submit OINP application is 24th March 2016 and I have already sent my application package on 17th March. I wanted to have an opinion if I did the right thing or not? If not, then should I send this information again to Ontario with all the relevant proofs to prove the relationship between my mother and her Sister. If I send this information, will it create a doubt in Visa Officer mind? If you guys advice me not to disclose this information, then should I remove this information from my EE profile? Showing this information will only fetch me additional 5 points on FSWP grid with no benefits in CRS score calculation.

My profile is as under

Age: 30 (12 points)
IELTS: L-7.5 (5 points), R-8 (6 points), W-7.5 (6 points) and S-7.5 (6 points) = 23 points
Experience in One NOC is 2-3 years = 11 points
ECA: Masters Degree = 23 points
Spouse IELTS: IELTS is CLB7 = 5 points
Relative: 5 points

This means 74 points without relatives and 79 points with relatives. Does not make a difference on FSWP grid as both cases its above 67 points. As far as I understand CRS points will not be impacted by relatives.

Can you guys please advice me on this. Urgent help required because if advice is to send this information then I will dispatch these details today itself.

I was also in the same boat

But i have not hided annything from oinp becoz my real brother in is saskatoon

i have filed his info in EE so i have shown it in OINP as well

rightnow it seems like u r hiding something from them

Which is not good

I think u shud remove info from EE

but m not an expert

Let see wat asivad and other senior has to say abt this

I also felt the same like u but i have shown ties in ontario as well and i have written a good intent to reside for oinp with job opportunities and good colleges in ontario

The main thing i learned from this forum is "NEVER HIDE ANYTHING FROM VISA OFFICER"

So i followed that moto and shown everything which i had

Yeah, I also feel the same. So in this case I have a feeling that I should remove this information from EE profile. If I do this then do not know if Visa Officer may think that why did I first choose Yes and later choose No.

Yeah, lets wait for Asivad's responses.

Please help guys. Asivad, Stanlee and others please advice.

You can choose not to declare a relative if you don't need the points.
