As a Permanent resident, can I stay outside of Canada continuously for more than 6 months?

I am a Canadian PR holder with an Indian passport. I travelled to India in January to attend a social occasion. But due to COVID 19 effect, my return flight got cancelled and from that time I am in India only. Now in the month of July, I will complete my 6 months in India. My question is will it affect my Permanent residency of Canada? Do I require to take any action regarding that? Please suggest.

No. You just need to be in Canada for at least two out of every five years. If you fail to meet this residency obligation, you would be placed into proceedings that could result in the revocation of your PR status.
