How would you plan to travel to Canada without a passport? And really, there is no benefit to destroying your passport...it only adds delays to processing your claim while they try to establish your identity (and this is when they can detain you and the detention times can be long) and not having a passport doesn't prevent them from removing you if you don't have a valid claim. ID like a birth certificate or college degree doesn't establish your identity convincingly enough for the Government of Canada.

Your question is a bit confusing. It doesn't matter which passport you use to claim asylum. If you have citizenship in several countries - you'll need to show why you can't return to any of them (not just one).
You can't hide your citizenship in one country and just use another. If you have citizenship in several countries - this will be discovered during background / security checks. You need to declare all of your citizenships truthfully in your asylum application and demonstrate why you can't return to any of these countries.
What I meant is what if this someone reached the POE and destroyed the documents he arrived with, and showed the immegration officers his original passport that he can claim asylum with, reason is the original passport doesn’t has a visa on it of course, is still the claim for asylum will be legit, or they might face detention or deportation?

And for how long will they detain someone? and what type of checks they can run to prove that someone is telling the truth about his origin? specially if he came from a country which is considered by the UN to be eligible for asylum because a lot of human rights violations and tortures are being practiced there, could they send someone back to a place like that again after all the suffering and sacrifices they made to reach there?
Yes - if for some reason the refugee claim isn't accepted or the refugee claim and appeals fail - the person would be sent back to their home country.

And for what reasons exactly they wouldn't accept claims? Because of the way someone arrives (without Visa)? or because they can't establish the persons identity? and couldn't they know someones identity through fingerprints and old passports, background checks for example?

There are a variety of reasons for which they could reject your claim and impossible for anyone here to give exact reasons. Each application is assessed on its own merit. But arriving on one passport and claiming on another would certainly raise suspicions. They will have a record of your entry on that passport ( unless it’s a forgery or not yours at which point it becomes fraud) and they will want to know why you aren’t living in the other country.
Anyone who claims asylum in another country always risks having their claim rejected and being sent back. That’s a risk all refugees take. There are no gaurantees any claim will be successful. You have to take the risk and hope that your evidence and proof are adequate to gain refugee status.

It depends on why you would destroy the documents in the first place.
If you would be boarding a plane to Canada by using a fraudulent passport/visa, or one that is not yours, that is considered a criminal offence in Canada so the end result could be going to jail here, and then deported back to your home country. If you had a criminal record in Canada, you may be ineligible for claiming asylum.
