Hi everyone,

If my wife (who is a Canadian Citizen) and our daughter (who is also a citizen by way of having a Canadian mom) arrive a month before me (the primary applicant through Family Class) do they need to be at the same airport that I land at? We are planning to move to Winnipeg which is where they will be, but I assume I will go through the immigration process at the first Canadian Airport I land at, which is most likely to be Vancouver.

There is no need for her to come across to Vancouver in that instance is there? Or does she need to arrive at the same time and be coming through immigration at the same time?

Thanks,
Simon

do you mean for landing? with a PR visa in hand?

no, your wife does not need to be there. and you can land at any Port of Entry - Vancouver will do just fine. They will ask you where you'll be living, so know the address.
