My mother had applied for the skilled immigration as she is a staff nurse.Recently, my father died. And some consultants say the points due to
him will be deducted. It has led to the points being below 67.I have heard of arranged employment factor. Can we benefit from that factor?

If she can get an AEO, yes but probably easier to increase points for english and/or french than to get AEO.

hi,

I'm 44 years old with 17 years experience in purchasing work for food and non food items. I'm currently working in the United States in the restaurant business as Buyer/Manager but i wanted to work in Canada. Please let me know what should i do to work in Canada either as a worker or immigrant.

thanks,

The federal skilled worker program is currently waiting for new rules but if you speak french, you can see if you qualify for the quebec skilled worker program

Another way, if you are on a H1B visa, you can try Alberta H1B program.

Otherwise you have to find an employer who is willing to try to get a temporoary work permit for you.

If you check sherry15 profile, you will see the email address just4canada@gmail.com which is a google account, not a business email. She never gave the name of her firm or a website or other contact info. Beware before you pay that the offer of AEO is real and legal. You notice when I asked her if it's legal and how much is the cost, she did not answer me except to ask for resume.

yes,I checked our data base, that email address is NOT in our list of licensed employment agencies

We tell people to be careful because there are a lot of scammers out there and you still did not answer, is it legal and how much do you charge for your services? Also, what is the name of your company so we can look it up?

Just today I was reading a post from someone on Yahoo Answers who had dealt with an "immigration company" in Toronto that disappeared after he paid them the fee. He had gone to Canada as a visitor and actually went to the address they gave him to look for their office but of course it wasn't there.

Hi sherry15,

Please give a reply to Leon's question! We should know about your legal status and you will make a lot money with your reliable business.

Cheers
