Are we allowed to work after getting SIN and a study permit?

I have been issued with SIN and study permit, but my classes will start from 23 Jan. I applied for one job and i got a call from there but some people said that to work, my class has to start. Please someone with good idea about it, help me in this scenario.

You cannot being working until your classes start. You will have to wait until January 23rd to begin a job.

As said above, you can't work until classes start. If you do work before then, you will be working illegally.

It is clearly explained on the website when students can work: 20 hours/week while studying and full-time during scheduled breaks. That's it.
