As per my knowledge, here in Canada, there is shortage of medical doctors. My appointment to a Consultant specialist is after 42 days and my wife also waiting with her appointment to see the specialist since last one month. If you qualify as per the rules related to Canadian Medical practioners, you can apply for PR.

The problem is what to do till I am able to clear all the exams?
What kind of jobs are available for us?
I am not interested in doing "survival jobs".

Practically speaking, sorry to say, those Survival Jobs might just be your way to go, initially. Kick them & u r in trouble, dear Doctor. U'll soon start depleting your funds.

Entering a Hospital or Clinic's door might be a long shot, unless u r a patient (God forbid), w/out being Licensed. Getting a Lab or Clinical Asst's job is possible, but not easy.

Ps.: Yes, Medics r in scarcity, but our foreign acquired MBBS or MD, just doesn't work here.
