Are there any issues arriving in Canada whilst PR is under process?

We've just received sponsorship approval and notification of file transfer so are playing the waiting game now. We will be going to Canada this month. I take it that my PR request will flag up with immigration? If so, can I expect any questioning etc please?

Just to add, I don't intend telling any lies I just wondered if they mention it at immigration.

It's fine. In fact CBSA is usually much easier on visitors who have a PR app already in progress. So make sure to bring proof of PR app (like sponsor approval, fee receipt, etc) and just tell them you want to wait out the process in Canada.

My husband and I just crossed about a month ago, I was pretty nervous but since we had our sponsorship approval, it was pretty stress free really. We did have to go to secondary but we were asking for 4 months, they asked a couple questions and gave my husband a year so I doubt you'll have any trouble.

Thanks Broliee. Are you the sponsor? what do you mean by giving your husband a year? Do you mean they gave him a year long visa?
