are the previous files being still processed

hi all

just wanted to know now with the new rules in the pipeline i know they are holding on for the new rules for the ones who applied in 2008,but the question I have is that the files that are form 2005ane 2007 are they still being proccesed r they too are on hold till the new rules are out .
I hve met a friend of mine who suggested that it is going to be further delayed i have applied in 2006 and am hoping for some responce next yr Iam from Dubai and have applied to london.
another thing if one is rejected a visit visa while the immigration file is in does it hamper in any way with the immigration.

Older files should still be processed as before under the old rules. The cutoff date was February 27 2008

that was a powerful one they Fran137. i strongly bleive it will go a long way to help those who have not yet reach that stage. God will reward u a thousand folds.

Fran137, I just have one question to ask u; i attended my own interview for the province of quebec it is soon getting to 5 months but i have received no reply yet and i have become so disturbed. Can i conclude that i have automatically been accepted or I might still receive a negative response after this long silence? for how long will i continue to wait because i learnt quebec was the fastest means.

please share your experience with me and others who mimght be in the same situation
