Are the cases of young applicants processed faster,seniors plz comment!!!

Hi,
After reading some posts at different forums & also a part of OP n after doing an analysis at trackitt ,I ve come to an idea tht MANY TIMES the cases of young applicants are being processed faster(atleast nowadays),seniors wht would u ppl think abt it.

(Plz dnt take my above statement as a judgement ,its just opinion n has been started just for the sake of discussion n it could be wrong as well.)

Not sure, just assuming, could well be. Maybe I am a bit prejudiced, as I am one of the older applicants (40). It could well be that they think that younger people would be able to settle in more quickly than the older ones, which I don't agree with.
I personally have lived and moved from 3 different continents ASIA to AFRICA TO EUROPE and have settled in well in all the countries every time (including learning the languages of the respective continents (countries).

i'm even older than bobbyb ( 40++) but got my visa in 7 months.
i think the processing time all depends on the IO handling your case.

That clears a doubt that had been bothering me for some time.

Thanks very much Bobby n mahharrouf for ur inputs, mahharrouf I really enjoyed ur joke , as I am also a Punjabi.
Well I also think tht it depends on the concerned IO how he takes your case, as in some cases, for London Visa office I ve seen tht this trend is being followed,may these cases would ve fallen to the same IO,
but I hope I AM WRONG as really as bobby n others ve said "OLD S GOLD".I pray tht IOs should also have the same notion.
