ARE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO CIC RETURNED AFTER STUDY PERMIT APPROVAL/REJECTION??

Hello everyone,

Have a couple of queries with respect to documents:

When applying for the study permit


1) Do we get back all the documents that we submit to CIC or only our original passport?
2) Do we need to submit original offer letter/experience/relieving letters by employer(s), or photocopy is enough?

You only deposit your original passport with photocopies of all other documents... Also get the photocopies notarized.. Though CHC doesn't say it.. Still it's advisable...

Your region check list will be a most reliable document in this regard. In my region they requested for original documents in all & when I am refused I got all my documents intact. So pls follow ur check list. Hope u are making reference to paper application.
