Are cars exempt from import taxes if I declare them in the forms during my first landing?

I’m driving to Canada from the US to confirm my PR. I have a single entry visa.

On some websites I see that it says that if I declare my car on the form I am exempt from import taxes.

On some other websites, it says this is not the case.

I’m just trying to find out. What’s the correct information?
