I have a unique problem. I used to live in Canada when I was very young around 3 years old. However, I now live in the USA as a permanent resident and a few years ago I tried to visit my family in Canada but I was told that I was issued a removal order. All this happened when I was a minor so I was wondering if I have to get an ARC or is there something else I can do as I was a minor at the time (around 12 years old) and I had no control over the situation. Now I just want to visit Canada to visit my family but my ETA was denied and the reason was "As per section 52(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, if a removal order has been enforced, a foreign national shall not return to Canada unless authorized by an officer or in other prescribed circumstances." I really don't want to have to go through that ARC process since I was a child at the time and the reason for my removal wasn't my fault as I had no say.
