Hey guys!
I’m desperately pleading for any feedback or help.
I was given a one year exclusion from Canada last December. I’ve been in Australia since.
I’m now wanting to apply for my ARC plus Temporary residency Visa to try and return earlier than December. I understand processing times are long and my exclusion will be up probably before they decide. But I just want to try. I have a pregnant fiancé in Canada that I desperately need to be there to support.

I filled it all out by hand on paper and took it to my local visa application office in Sydney today, only to be told it all needs to be done online.
But I cannot find anywhere online to apply for the two of those things. Let alone together.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction when it comes to applying for two of those things online.
Thankyou!

I'm personally not aware of a way to apply entirely online for individuals who are visa exempt. This is a more complex question. You previously mentioned you're working with a lawyer on your spousal sponsorship application. You should ask that lawyer for help.

I appreciate your consistent replies to my posts mate.
My partner and I have been apart for almost 12 months now, and she’s 20 weeks pregnant with our first born. Currently the spousal application we are working on is common law, she is thinking about travelling to Australia for the second time this year to see me before the pregnancy becomes too hard for her to do so. We are thinking about getting married while she is here, do you think a married spousal sponsorship application is easier than a common law application? I did ask my lawyer but I don’t think she’s legally allowed to say yes as her reply was very vague.

I'm not sure what you mean by easier. If you're asking about whether it's easier to pull the application together, if you are married then it's a bit easier since you don't have to include the solid evidence of one year of continuous cohabitation (which you do for common law). Otherwise it's really no different.

However if you have solid evidence of having lived together for one year continuously to prove common law, then IMO you are probably better off submitting the application under common law so that you can get it in as soon as possible and the processing of the application can get underway.

Ultimately your call.

Realistically your partner needs to be prepared for the fact that you may not be able to join her in Canada. Have your explored whether she can come join you in Australia?
