I got an interview invite for Jan 21st inperson interview in Scarborough. My LPP is still pending is it something to worry about? What to expect?
I'm still waiting on LPP, Prohibitions, Language since April 2025

Yes, March '25 applicant. Wife stuck in Background & Prohibition, I am stuck in prohibition only. Almost 6 months with no updates.
Finally got a response to reschedule my citizenship interview and this is an important tip for everyone to know.
If you get an Notice to Appear for an interview request from your local IRCC city/regional office, they will ask you to respond to that same email if you need to reschedule the interview date. Do this - BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - also submit a webform specifically via this https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application/Form/75
When I emailed back my IRCC office (twice) they didn't respond for three weeks and I was concerned about being marked a 'no-show'.
When I sent the same rescheduling request via the webform link an officer responded within a day and rescheduled it.

I logged into the tracker this morning and found my Updated date show January 6, 2026 but the latest update shows “You've been scheduled to attend an interview with our official on January 2, 2026. Information and instructions will be sent to you.” We are past 2nd Jan and this message wasnt there before today, any idea?
I'd suggest calling IRCC. It's probably a small mistake/glitch on their side - but check your spam emailboxes and the like, too.
I literally just got off the call with them and funny enough they are having system issue so cannot tell me anything and asked me to call them later or tomorrow, i checked junk and spam nothing in there. I only had provision left and everything else was complete, not sure what they are looking for.
update. i called IRCC they advised me Interview was cancelled, so probably was a glitch. Also advised my probitions is now cromplete. Finger crossed on Oath Ceremony.
