I hope before the New Year arrives we have them BG’s cleared and ready for 2026
Happy New Year bro.Applied April 21st, AOR May 7th, Citizenship test July 20, Citizenship + Background passed Aug 23, Ghost update Sept 25th, LPP, Prohibitions, Language pending.
It's fucked isn't it? If you applied in April, it'll take you 13 months. But if you applied in May/June/July, you've probably already a citizen.
So I haven't been following the threads for later months. But I did a quick comparision,

2025 June - 5 months left, About 113,300 people ahead of you

I decided to check earlier in the year as well,
2025 March - 3 months left, About 72,000 people ahead of you
2025 Feb - 3 months left, About 64,100 people ahead of you
2025 Jan - 2 months left, About 57,100 people ahead of you
Ok, let us check last year.
2024 Dec - 2 months left, About 51,000 people ahead of you
2024 Nov - 2 months left, About 46,600 people ahead of you
2024 Oct - 2 months left, About 43,000 people ahead of you
2024 Sept - 2 months left, About 39,900 people ahead of you
From 2024 August going back there's no estimate anymore, just a message "We need more time to process your application" so it seems you need to go back to August 2024 to get to folks where all non-complex non-security blocked applications are completed.

2024 June - About 32,400 people ahead of you

At this point I give up. But it seems like one at least has to get into 2023 (if not earlier) before getting to the front of the line....
Meanwhile, those of us who don't get hung up with security issues and don't have complex applications, can probably expect things to be done a little shy of four more months...
