Hi, our visitor visa timeline
May 2nd - applied
May 7th - biometrics submitted and completed
May 14th or 15th - Eligibility completed on status tracker
but after that there has been no update. Can anyone pls advise how long will it take to get next update ?
Also how do we know our visa processing office ?

Visitor Visa Timeline for my sister (India):

Applied via IRCC Portal - April 05, 2024 (Applied through GC key)
Biometrics: April 06, 2024 (Submitted already in previous rejected visitor visa application)
Background Verification - In Progress
Eligibility: Started on 24 May ("We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" in GC Key and completed same day.
Eligibility completed: 27 May (In IRCC application status portal. In GC key still showing "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements")
PPR & BVL - 28th May 2024

It was worth it to wait for almost 2 month for decision. Haven't raised any webform during the application process. Thank you everyone in this group.

What is the reason for biometrics exemption? The current processing time for visa applications from India is 30 days (average).

Biometrics have been taken from the Spousal PR application.

Yes you can! You need your UCI, visa application number and basic personal details. Tracker link: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register

TRV Application Timeline:

Application date: 05 April, 2024 (From India - Applied for sister)
Biometrics updated: 06 April, 2024 (From previous application which was rejected)
No updates after that.
