My wife completed her test on May 5th and was asked to provide the scanned copy of passport last week from Scarborough office. Background check and test shows completed and everything else as pending in Tracker. We are planning to move to Mississauga next month which is a different case processing office. What is the best way to avoid any delays in processing?
1. Change address as soon as we move.
2. Change address once all checks shows as completed in tracker (DM)
3. Don't change the address at all and get mail forwarding the new address to receive the certificate

When you get any communication from the processing office, you can see the three words that represent the office in the Email address. SCR appears in the middle of email address for Scarborough

I never received an email from the processing office, all information are from tracker

I've just called 1-888-242-2100, but I heard that the agent will have no others information than we can see in the tracker :-(

They said if the application is received after Jan 14th 2020, it is not processed yet

Got my test invite today, it says I have from June 14 - July 4 to write the test. I'm currently in the US and I plan on making a quick trip to Canada to write the test. Anyone knows the covid rules concerning travelling to Canada? Can I enter Canada and leave within 24 hours?
I'll appreciate your responses... thanks.

An update on this. I drove into Canada via the Peace Bridge on Saturday June 26, did my test and returned to the US on Sunday June 27. Passed the test (19/20) and my test was validated on June 28. Putting this out there in case someone out there is wondering about flagpoling to write the test.

Anything specifics(hotel bookings etc) they asked by cbsa?
So we can return by car after informing Health canada, correct?
I assume cbp didnt question on quarantine.

What I did was to rent a car in Buffalo NY and booked an hotel in Fort Erie, ON for one night, all I needed was an hotel with god wifi to do my test. When I got to the border, I told the lady I was there to write an exam that requires me to be on Canadian soil, she asked if it was a Citizenship test, I said yes.

I had to do a covid test at the border (even though I had done a one 2 days earlier). The Border official will inform you that you still have to quarantine for 14 days, don't worry though, you can break your quarantine to return to the states. Returning to the US is much easier, less questions.

When you leave Canada, call public health @ 1-833-784-4397 to inform them you've left the country and to be removed from the quarantine list, else, you'll get an email everyday asking if you are still under quarantine.
