Could anyone, whose medical was extended, please tell me, if IRCC extends your medical how does it reflect in your profile? As "You don't need a medical exam..." Or as "Medical passed on.."?

"medical passed on "is the one to look for.

my medical has been extended in gcms but noone has updated in the portal.

i still see " you do not need medical"

Thanks for the info.
Can I also know when did your medical expire? And when and for how long it has been extended?

my case it took 6 months. Ircc doesnt like my application so they basically do bare minimum .. 6 months are max for re evaluating medical for extension inside canada...

My plan was to get the PR and go to Canada and start my MBA, but there is no indication on the final decison.
Can I apply for student visa?

Hi all,
I expect to get my CoPR somewhere between September and December (FSW-O, all approved, currently being reviewed in my local visa office - Paris, France).
Based on my GCMS notes, my medicals were extended and I would have until late April 2022 to arrive in Canada.
Making hypothetical plans for the future: I may be able to arrive, but only after the medicals validity deadline (e.g. April / May 2022).
How should I proceed then? What I really want to avoid is having to go through another process of Permanent Residence, given the couple years it's already taking...
- Should I renew my medicals right now, before the CoPR is issued, so it is a possibility?
- Should I raise the topic to IRCC once my CoPR is issued?
@legalfalcon, any idea/advice on this issue ?
Thanks in advance for your feedbacks,
Regards

You’ve waited for so long.. wait for another month or 2.. student visa will take more time than that if u start now
