My wife is from ontario. We intend to hire David cohen to work out our sponsership process . Through my understanding Mr cohen profiles shows his office is in quebec . Do i need to look for someone from ontario again .or cohen can do the job.your comments on this regard is appreciated

The application process is pretty straightforward and explained in the guide. I am not sure why you want to hire someone. But it is time-consuming and requires a high level of due-diligence. Just suggestion

Hey guys,

We received an email stating that the application is forwarded to New Delhi VO on June 7, 2017. On June 9, 2017, I saw the below status ie point 2 (highlighted in red) added in ECAS.

Permanent Residence of Principal Applicant - ECAS Status:

1. We received <applicant name>'s application for permanent residence on April 18, 2017.
2. We started processing <applicant name>'s application on June 9, 2017.
3. Medical results have been received.

Questions:
1. We are yet to receive our AOR2 from New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO). Does point 2 (highlighted in red) mean that NDVO received the application?
2. What is the time range between receiving the application transfer to Visa Office and AOR2?

I managed to get a hold of a Call Centre Agent today and he just said it's only been 2 months since we received your application, the processing time for Outland is 12 months. I'm a April 7th applicant, and my file still hasn't been transferred to NDVO. I'm seeing people who applied later than me and theirs is getting transferred. This process is so sketchy and ridiculous. He didn't even confirm if schedule A was attached or not.

Well depends on the agent and how his/her day is going to be frank. They cannot do much either on their end, they might just ask you to submit query via web form instead..these guys don't realize what it is like waiting for their loved ones probably..

Hi there, it really depends on the VO whether they actually send an AOR2 or not but I heard from a friend that it could take anywhere from 15-20 days. Hang in there!

Hello friends,

I got AOR2. But I got a different UCI number of file but file number is same. Is this a problem or when file goes to delhi then they give a different UCI number?

Another question is they asked me to send PCC and proof of payment to Mississauga so do I have to send it from Canada or I will have to send it from India? Plz reply me about it.

Hey everyone,

I received a request with my SA (May 25) to send in my Schedule A. I mailed it to CPC and they received it on June 1.

Since then I have had no confirmation that they received/attached it. No change on MyCIC/ECAS (still says waiting for requested docs). No email. No nothing.

Is this typical? I was hoping by now I would get confirmation that they received it and ECAS changed to "In process" and they will ship it to the VO but I am still waiting with nothing and I am outside of Canada (in South Asia) so I don't believe I can call to find out... Really frustrating..
