Officially one month today since AOR2 and BGC still "not applicable" ... (sigh ).

I've been waiting since July 4, and they haven't even started the background check for me.

I'm in the same boat. 2 months since AOR2 and no requests for medical yet.

Just to let everyone know that the New Delhi VO is closed on monday because of the riots happening in Punjab abd Haryana.

Yup, count me in too. BC is Not Applicable. I stopped opening MYCIC account or ECAS. It is the same!

Trying to be patient but it's really hard and I see it taking a toll on my wife, really tough.

Oulrish, you just said what I am exactly going thro'. We all tend to concentrate on work and other things. Trying not to think negatively. It does get you when you are least expecting. Only thing we can do is as you said.. PATIENCE..just hanging in there!! Tomorrow will be a new day, lol.

Yeah exactly, there's not much that can be done apart from waiting. Gotta try real hard not to lose hope.

Has anyone forgotten to put Name and DOB on the back of the passport photos? I can't believe we forgot to do that and now I'm so worried our application will be returned

I am going to apply for Spousal visa. I am principal applicant and my wife is sponsoring me. In Supplementary Travel History Form IMM 5562 their is a question.

List all trip you, and if applicable, your family members have taken outside your country of origin or residence in the last years(or since your 18th birthday if this was lees then 10 year ago.)

a) You- Means Principals applicant travel history

b) Your spouse or common law partner

My question is in (B) I have to provide them travel history of my sponsor also???

1) Not all visa offices send AOR2 emails (I know London does not), so that line is like an AOR2.

2) No, I did not get an email and mine has started.

3) There's no specific amount of time, sometimes it takes a few minutes (since they sometimes don't update when they actually start) and sometimes it can take months. Part of the background checks are done by a third party (not Canadian gov) so they don't have a fixed time.

London sends AOR2 emails - we got one.
