No, I don't have access to Acrobat Pro.

If you use the website I posted above, you just take your pdf file, and drop it (or choose file on your computer to upload) onto the orange rectangle. It automatically does the compressing and then you can download the compressed file size pdf.

Or, if you have a paper copy of the form and access to a digital scanner, you should scan the form to a quality of no more than 150 dpi (dots per inch). The more dpi, the bigger the file size. However, less than 100dpi starts to lose too much quality.

Yeah true those are all the options available to help us get those files size smaller. Good post. It'll help a lot of applicants.

Today are almost over if we take a look on IRCC office hours.... April 5th applicant havent received any AOR yet! Hopefully early next week we have a good news now!!! Hoping for the best!!!

tried all combos but nothing has worked yet...so i called CIC call center and they suggested to submit tech support issue since the agent on the phone verified all the information I was entering was correct

Did you ask agent about do we need to count sponsor in the number of applicant field? Like if we don't have any dependent children then number of applicant will be 1 or 2?

I had high hopes last week as well being an April 4th applicant but gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. Hopefully everything goes well and some good news will pour in on Monday.

I have some questions regarding the Document Checklist, page 6, Proof of Relationship to Sponsor.

In the top section of the page 6, because we are living together, we have to provide documentation from 2 of the following 3 sets of options:
1. Joint ownership of residential property...
2. Proof of joint utilities accounts...
3. Important documents for you and your sponsor showing the same address...

In the bottom section of the page 6, because we did not answer yes to all 4 questions, we have to provide 1 document from 3 of the following sets of options:
1. Joint ownership of residential property...
2. Proof of joint utilities accounts...
3. Important documents for you and your sponsor showing the same address...
4. Important documents for you and your sponsor showing that you are recognized...
5. Documentary evidence of financial support...
6. Other proof that your relationship is recognized...

Now the first three in the top section overlap in the second section. Because of this can we just pick 1 from the second section since we'll have two from the first section (which are also in the second)? Or do we have to pick 3 that are different to the ones we picked in the first section?

You can pick only one category from the bottom list but if you can provide more proof I would suggest giving them as much as you can. It can only make things better and help your application. Can't really hurt.
