UCI and application number, police certificateand Schedule A background request and submitted. last update I heard from them is from IRCC that they forwarded documents I submitted to the responsible office July 15. since tgen I haven't heard anything from them. getting worried where this is going

application received april 27 of this year?

if there are no issues with your application, i wouldn't expect to get any update for 3-6 months until decision made and they send you the request for the PA passport for Visa stamping

I'm sponsoring my wife. In the form 5406 (Additional Family Information) she mentioned all of her family information.
1. As a spouse do I also have to complete this same form and signed by me?
2. If yes, then on my form Section A-> whose name comes in Applicant field and in Spouse field?

no, this is to be completed by your wife as she is the Principal applicant. she will need to list her parents and all siblings. you, the sponsor, do not need to sign it

When you recieved the package from cic, did itcontain a uci number?

No. UCI is only issued when the forms are complete and processing begins in Mississauga, and an AOR is sent to the sponsor.

thank you. got another issue here. I need some corrections to be made on form 5532 on a page in the middle. the form is signed and sent by my wife already. Now if she needs to send it again it will take more time. Can i reprint the page and put it in the middle? the problem is, the paper size doesn't match. My wife one is slightly longer than the one I'm going to print on. Any feedback on that please?

Paper sizes does not matter. I printed all the forms here in Canada except the signature pages which my wife sent to me after signing through mail. There was obvious differences in the size and quality of paper.

The only thing that you must get from your spouse is the signature pages, rest can be printed here.

You can always use a paper cutter just to adjust the length for the look and feel of your application. But that's only for how it looks, CIC wont bother about this!

Depends on specific VISA Office, mine took 16 calendar days!

In my experience, I received the transfer email the next day... but I feel like each VO is probably different so don't stress too much about it...
