I read it and it is general of its new procedures, I do not know how the process is inside Canada, so I do not know! My application is outside and this helped me, for example this says: (Note: Visa offices will not be involved in assessing medical results or following up on outstanding documentation — these tasks will be completed by the in-Canada office. In most cases, the visa office should be able to complete its review as soon as it receives a request to do so, given that all of the necessary information should already be in GCMS when the request for examination is initiated.)I believed that this was done by the VO so I do not really know

For me, instead of seeing AOR2, an officer called me instead, and asked me about 10 questions on my application, and said it was for security purposes that they have started processing my PR application.

I have never heard that before. Do you mind sharing some of the questions they asked? was it just to verify you were the person they wanted to speak to or where they specific to your application?

I have read through all this thread and I have never seen anyone talked about receiving any call from a CIC.
He called and said from CIC, and asked me to confirm my name? I did.
He said I should confirm my spouse name? I did
He asked the DOB of my first non accompanying dependent? I did
He asked me where did I meet my spouse? I told him
He asked me to confirm our home address? I did
He asked me to give my phone to my wife? I told him she has gone to work.
He asked me if I consulted a consultant to fill out my application? I told him NO
He asked how many months I have lived together with my wife in that address? I told him.
He asked me to confirm the date I entered into the country? I confirmed the date.

He asked me to tell him the day we got married? I did.

Like he was really going through the application, and asking questions, and he was saying and your work permit..... and I guess he found that, and he didn't ask any further question.

And he said, thank you, we have started processing your application, and he will call if he needs any more questions from us.
