Hi Friends.

My husband sent spousal sponsorship application from Canada through courier service on 29th march 2017 and application was delivered to Robert Speck Parkway,Mississauga on 30th march 2017 but so far we did not receive any response from CIC about the status of our application whether it is has been "received" or "filed".We wanted to know how long does it take to get the acknowledgement from them.
We tried to call CIC regarding the application whether its been received, but they were asking about an application number which we do not have.

Kindly please help us.

it needs about 7 business days or more so they send you an email that they received the application. With the application number so keep on checking your emails PA and sponsor.

1. My spouse has not done medicals upfront as in the checklist, it was mentioned that it is not advisable to do it upfront. Also, I read somewhere in the website that panel of physicians need cic request letters to conduct the medicals. Is this true?

yes...medicals are now done when requested by CIC. They will send you an email and a form you will need to print and bring when they request your medicals

My Other Questions:
2. What is the timeline range between application reaching the CPC-Missasauga and the AOR? From AOR to SA?
3. My spouse is in India. Is only New Delhi the Case Processing Centre for Spousal Sponsorship in India? What about Bangalore? Has anyone ever got the spousal sponsorship done by Consulate General of Canada, Bangalore?

One more question:

1. When you get AOR, we link the application. When do they ask for Schedule A, Police Certificate, and Medical? Is it like the below order?

AOR will give the sponsor and sponsored instructions to link application.
After linking application, an email is sent from CIC to submit Schedule A and Police Certificat.
SA letter will come with instructions to submit medicals

I just want to know the intervals. My spouse is trying to get the police certificate done in India. I just want to be better prepared!

i need a little help. i have applied for my wife's pr file . cic have just asked for pcc and schedule a.
its written in the mail - to send pcc . exact words

At this time, you need to provide a police certificate for:
1) The country where you currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more;
and
2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18.
You must also provide this for every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or
not) who is aged 18 or older. Please refer to your application guide for a definition of “family
member”. This must be received at this office by..

am i suppose to get pcc of each and every member of her family ?
