I am sponsoring my wife, see my timeline on the left for when and which form was requested. The form I used was printed last June, I signed it and wrote the date I signed (around aug or sept). Didn't send in application till over 6 months after the date I wrote down. If I could guess, thats why they indicated "incomplete/outdated form"

But after March I think the form that was requested to you is not needed anymore. I went through the whole checklist again. I too made a set of documents in october before my marriage I remember I too filled that form but couldn't find it on the new check list later when I filed

Thanks koifish,

I haven't heard anything yet either Taffy I will let you know I think it will be towards the end of the week. Hopefully earlier they are working way to slow we should go work for them nd help them out :p

Not sure I understand. This is the checklist I used http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.pdf

It looks as though this checklist is new, updated in January. Still has the IMM5540 on there (which has remained same since 2008)??

See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp for what forms are needed and the revision dates.

Is this what you used as well?

Please check the last modified date of the second link.
Here's the latest check list

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5443E.pdf

And here is the application package which doesn't have that form which was requested to you.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

I think you should hire a representative and fight against this issue. Or i think since you have applied before march ends and if you might have missed this form they will ask for it.

I am not too sure about it. Just my personal belief. U can akways ask to some of our seniors.

We got our AOR 2 this afternoon saying they received our application in our visa office (New Delhi).
Now waiting for PPR. Thank you for all the updates. Good luck everyone.

these links you provided are for INLAND applications, not outland. koifish applied outland, and the links he provided are the correct ones for outland. that is the same checklist i used when i sent my application in march. i received sponsor approval, so they are valid for OUTLAND applications. A representative is not going to provide help in investigating koifish's situation further, and will essentially be a waste of money. Getting in contact with his MP might be more helpful at this point.

You don't have to do anything ....

Hello Everyone

Can I be added to the sheet please?
I might repeat this 5 more times so I can reach 10 posts and update my sidebar! lol

just stumbled upon this forum and I see its quite helpful. I would like to be added to the spreadsheet as well. What info do you require? I sent my spousal application for my wife and her son on April 2 and it was recieved by CIC in Mississauga on April 4. I just received my email on May 29 advising that I am eligible to sponsor (which is a good sign). AOR was received the day before on May 28. The Visa office is In Santiago, Chile (where my wife resides)

Cheers
