Oh. Thanks for the update on that. It doesn't seem like the process is moving fast because its now on april 4th and tonight is the end of the week they will update that they are working on 7th april applicants. That is just 3 days in one week. Its same as it is right now. I hope they change 4th of april to a double digit number.

M 3rd April, did dey forget me???

Lets hope you receive your soon. Mine was received on the 10th of April so i have some time to wait. Is your husband a Canadian citizen or PR. Its all so frustrating as when we sent ours it was 28 days. Now even processing has gone up to 11 months for us.We are applying VO London.

APRIL 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

Hello everyone,

I need some advice regarding my spouse sponsorship visa. My wife is Canadian and we got married in Aug 2013.
we lived here in Pak till May 2014 together and now she is in Canada. I haven't applied for spouse visa yet.
But I applied Canadian Study Permit in March 2014 and got the refusal.
I applied the student visa keeping in mind the long processing time of spousal sponsorship but now that I have got the rejection what should be my next move. I mean is there some way out other than spousal visa or I should go for Spousal visa now.

Regards

maybe it was sent by mail? i've heard that if you call the cic call center, they may be able to tell you if you've been approved at this point. some people have called and been told they have been approved to sponsor.

you might as well go for spousal sponsorship. all roads to PR seem to be long.

Did you try calling? It's how I found out. Only got the letter about 1 month later in the mail! If they've made a decision, they can tell you over the phone :)

I just got my AOR and it was sent in on April 10th. Interesting to see how long SA will take.

Hei Gagan
I know u applied through a representative. ?? R u sure they didn't receive any email? Bcz u will not get email from CIC. Also r u very sure they send ur file on time that u say and received at CIC? if so then call them next week.i can reallly feel wat u going through.
