US applicants go to Ottawa for the most part, so until you are notified otherwise, your best bet is Ottawa.

Are you a US citizen/PR or are you there on a work visa? If you're a Citizen or PR, it'll go to Ottawa unless transferred to LA for some reason. If you're there on a work visa it'll possibly go to your home country.

I'm a citizen of USA so I assume it goes to Ottawa.

Ok folks in Mississauga, it's time to send me something... Hurry up and do it already.

Looking forward to seeing AORs for April applicants!!! It seems like March has been busy for CIC-M, plus Easter holidays... processing times look longer. There are still some March applicants who have not received AORs yet. Ohh and yes Victoria Day long weekend is coming soon...

But let's keep being positive... I hope CIC will catch up soon :)

I think this is a question of what do you plan to do and what are you expected to contribute to. $20 dollars a day is certainly enough for homemade burritos and tacos and probably even some seafood dinners.

BUT

I think you need to ask yourself is $20 a day reasonable in the community for living enjoyment. Going to the beach costs nothing but getting to the beach might cost something. Will you own everything you need or do you expect to go shopping? Will you need to pay for a cell phone? Will you have a car and does that mean filling the gas tank/insurance?

You must do a better account of your planned lifestyle then you will see if 600 is reasonable.

I would be Leaving with my husband and his family I would not need a car only the minor expenses helping with buying food, I would use my husbands phone to get a hold of my family and anything else I need. After paying my bills here is canada I should be left with at least $400 dollars more or less.

Would this be enough then??

Emmalina you may want to ask this question in a Mexican thread as many as us who has not lived in Mexico wouldn't know if you can live on that amount. It would be like me asking you if $600.00 would be enough for me to live in the U.K. Good luck
