Got my COPR in the mail today via Canada Post... it came in a brown government envelope Going to land tomorrow

I am cheering for everyone in April to get theirs too ASAP!

you are already in canada right? if you are in the states, where abouts are you? trying to determine how long it will take for mine to get to CT!

Uh holy crap, mine is also at decision made. I am nervous, excited and scared. Scared that it might be bad news, excited because I am fairly certain it is good news and nervous because I had not anticipated it going through THAT FAST and I am really not ready at all to land. When do you think I will get my COPR in the mail? A few days? I am a little nervous because what if they want me to land in 2 weeks? I was planning on landing sometime in December or even possibly January of next year! I am so excited that I am so much closer to FINALLY being with my wife and I hope it doesn't sound like I am not. I just kind of had everything planned out in my head for late this year.

I know what you mean I am an May 1 applicant and we had everything planned for moving in the spring. The way things are going I could be getting news in the next few weeks......I better start packing

relax. more likely than not, your copr will be valid until the one year mark of your medical exam. if you get it soon, you probably won't have to rush to land. the copr is mailed by canada post, so how fast you get it depends on where it's being sent.

Mine was a spousal sponsorship. I live in the US and my wife(Canadian citizen) lives in Canada. I have not received my COPR yet, just the online status says a decision has been made.

seriously! i am headed back to the states today, and was planning on coming back for another visit (until approved) at the end of august. now it appears i'll probably be landing as a pr instead. crazy!!!!!

I am curious. I had a trip to Canada planned for the beginning of September. Say, for example, I am required to land by December of 2014, if I go to visit in September, MUST I officially land or can I just go as a visitor and then return in December to officially land?

I have just sent a sponsorship application for my spouse yesterday. Now the waiting time has begins.
Does anyone know if there is any thread that is more recent for an outland application?

My app started processing July 22, the date my Copr was issued (on the COpr) is July 25th, so it took 3 days to approve me. ECAS was changed after the thing had already been mailed to me. I'm in Calgary so it took around 5 days by postal mail.

I have just received word that my package has arrived in the mail today. I am at work so I haven't opened it. Again I am in Pennsylvania so I wouldn't be surprised if you also get yours within 2-3 business days of changing to decision made.
