Did you choose "Sydney" as the visa office when you were filling out the application form? I think it's worth giving CIC a call, maybe they can transfer your file from Ottawa to Sydney

Received SA this morning! Interestingly, the email said that our application has been forwarded to CPC-O - Case Processing Centre Ottawa, rather than Sydney (we are both living together in New Zealand at the moment). Any ideas on why they chose Ottawa? It's a bit disappointing as the processing times in Sydney are very quick right now.

Just received an email of CIC. I meet the requirements to sponso my wife and the application already sended to PARIS. FINALLY.

I'm so happy. Now starts another long waiting period.
