my application was send in feb, mid of march received first email from cic and notify missing doc of police cert, there is no uci number to me and even no sa until now, hong kong police station sent my ploice cert on apr 3, i have been waiting for many days for the uci number and sa
sigh ....

i called cic center today and they told my police cert was received on apr 14, i hope to receive the uci number and sa from cic within this month

Taffy have you received anything yet ? On my application it says they received it on the 11th but it was received and signed off on the 10th of April

I just visited FEBRUARY 2014 thread..couldn't believe what i saw.Person in the name of 'NetKin' His visa office Sydney.applied 24th Feb and got visa on 22 May.All process in 3 month..Whhhhaaaatttt!!!

I wonna share smthing. Dere were UCI number nd File number in da AOR i received. Ven i fill UCI numbr den m able to check only if i fill my husband's info, on da other hand file numbr does nt work vid his info, it worked today ven i filled my info vid file numbr. Nd UCI shows decision made whereas file numbr shows application received. This means file numbr is for applicant nd Ndvo received ma file, nd UCI number is for da sponsor as it shows decision made, its jst dat dey maild me da SA nd mail is getting late to reach bt ma file has been transferred. Hope dis info vil b helpful to u ven checking application status online. Thanks. Jst hoping da letter to reach today.

But ECAS still shows application received for the PR application (CPC-O).
How long does it usually take to change to "In Process"?
I'm wondering the delay could have been caused by the new bill passed regarding citizenship and officers are getting trained and adjusting to the new process?

But ECAS still shows application received for the PR application (CPC-O).
How long does it usually take to change to "In Process"?

It will say Application Received for a long while. I got my SA on March 7th 2014 and it still says Application Received. I'm not expecting an update for at least another month or two. Posted times for Ottawa is 15 months, and that is not including the time it was at Mississauga. Typically though applications are processed at Ottawa in about 6-8 months. It doesn't go into process until the very end, if at all. ECAS is not always up to date.

yes, paris and sydney are exceptionally fast. 3-4 months complete processing!
