I don't get why people leave brothers, sisters, mum's, dad's and in a crazy post earlier their own child off an application. Leaving your brother's and sister's off your application was for sure negligent bordering on misrepresentation. However I don't think it will have bearing on your application. As for what your wife should say at her interview is a totally different matter. Now you have made a mistake I would be honest and tell them everything. I assume they will question why you left them off the application, they had no bearing on your application had you added them from the start.

You can't just declare them now, it is to late. I would wait to see what questions they ask at the interview and see if it is mentioned and I assume when they do background checks they will show up on that.

None, i think you have been aware for a while since the last time you were telling me to check on ecas maybe i will see the interview date for my wife. The letter actually came 3 days after your suggestion and her interview is schedule on November 28 2012 @ 8:00am. Now to your question, i think you have to declare them now since you havn't declare them in your PR. Since you did not declare them it means you are the only child of your parents so i suggest you stick to what you declare in your application.

I think it is because we put in the application that she is still studying but we have every proof for all the school she attended and studing at the moment. So None, let not worry so much about those officer that have the power to do whatever they want but by the grace of God we will cross the lake in peace.

What if, one day, one of your brothers or sisters wants to immigrate to Canada and declares having the same parents as you? Did you ever think about that?

It would make sense if the child was a Canadian citizen...but that would be obvious not to add him/her as a dependent.

That might be another option if the child was born to a Canadian parent (citizen). Try and get citizenship to avoid the mistake made on the application to sponsor the principal applicant (spouse).

For what I understand, he is the sponsor but, for an unknown reason, didn't declare his brothers and sisters on his own application for becoming a PR.

While I'm not sure why you decided to leave your family members out of your application, it's too late to do anything about it now. I wouldn't stress about the interview though, I doubt the interviewing officer has any info on the sponsor past what was provided in the current application. If they ask your wife if you have brothers and sisters, she should answer honestly.

My E-CAS now shows TWO addresses- the current HOME address shows a partial Canadian address (only city and province); and the current MAILING address shows the Indian address. The status is still "IN PROCESS"- been like that since 4 September 2012. I hope now that the address has changed, the visa will be issued soon ;D

Great news, congratulations! when the address changes to a canadian one, it means that the visa is ready for issuance usually, so you should be very close to the end.

PPR for my wife! No additional documents requested.

AOR from HK on July 25.

PPR from HK on August 28 (the date on the PPR letter).

A little over a month to approve my wife...super fast!
