I was wondering if you have tried automated system.....I believe that is first indication of progress on your application.

Thanks KJG but the agent says they won't send regular mail as I mentioned my email for communication. Not sure though how correct the agent words are..

I never got a letter or an email. They said I had to wait four weeks before asking them to resend.

He is talking about ecas if you have a UCI from another app.

don't rely on that caprwife.....my aor was sent email and my approval by regular mail.....and a few others who have called have been told their decision is in the mail........

I have the UCI for my SO's visitor visa, but I didnt know it until after we applied for his PR so I never put it on his application, would they match it up?

Yes mc, his UCI will work but probably not until after approval. I found my husbands UCI from his visitors visa and tried it and it worked.

exactly.....if you call twice and ask the same question and have two different agents you will get two different answers that is the way our government works....and not just with CIC....try CRA....lord they are awful!!!

Please check ur junk box too. Check ur and ur sponsor's both email. I still haven't received any email. Some people received email at night too.
