Yes, 2 people have got approval, 1 feb and 3 feb.

Hi there, we sent my wife's spousal application off to Ontario on April 10. It was received about a week later..now it's just the waiting game for us, like everyone else..we hope to be in Vancouver by November, but we'll have to wait and see. Oh can anyone tell me how i can get the wee timeline doo-hickie under my name on here that says Visa Office,App.filed, etc..like so many others on here have? I quite fancy it.

Just go to the PROFILE menu, you could see that at the upper right of your screen and then click the "FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION" and then you could start to fill in each boxes.Hope this helps

I'd better make some more posts then, eh! So...how about them Rangers, eh? Looks like liquidation for sure, och aye! Heh heh..hmm..uh..anyway.. ??? still no word back on our visa yet..we were planning to move over to Vancouver in November but our circumstances in Canada beyond our control have taken a turn which will derail our current plan drastically..which is very frustrating..

Here's a question that hopefully someone here can help me with. We mailed in our application on April 25th, and it was delivered on April 27th (according to the tracking on Canada post). Is there any way to check with the CIC that they have recieved the application, or is that only when they start looking at the April applicants that we'll be able to check the status online?

Some receive and AOR ( acknowledgement of receipt) but those are rare other than that you have to wait until they open your application to know anything about it...even if it's just to know they've received it.
