I've been reading the boards and it looks like quite a few March applicants through Buffalo received their PPRs in the past few days. Hopefully us April people are around the corner.

I think you're right.

Having looked at the timelines for people who've been through the Tokyo office in the past two years it looks like Tokyo's been getting slower instead of faster. From 2 months in '09 to four in '10 to ?? now. I'd take four months, that's only 2.5 weeks away!

For anyone who's filed the access to information request: I've got one or two questions.

For those of us sponsoring a spouse, I believe that I want to select "Visa file (information abroad)". But then I'm asked for Embassy (obvious) and "Visa file number". What's that? I have a client ID but not to my knowledge a file number. Or do I have it wrong, and I just need to select "Citizenship (GCMS)" and provide the Client ID?

Just leave it blank. File number is given if they gave AOR and starts with F. If you do not the file just leave that blank as well.

Same here. @enna00, you can find everyone's status in the spreadsheet in the signature of my posts. You'll see that it's a real mix. Some embassies request a passport very early, others wait. Some process quickly, some are slow. Very frequently, the applicants hear nothing during the process until the passport request.

its been almost 2 months now n no contact from chc nd after passport submission...e-cas is also the same "application recieved on 23 june"
