Bump! We were far on page 3!

This morning we got an ecas tracker update! Medical results have been received! ;D Finally something new! Last update was on June 21 when we got the AOR! Now im wondering.. anybody know if when it shows medical received its supposed to be almost the end/ receiving a decision made soon? Im wondering how soon (or how far) after to get that update people actually get news? Just curious..! ::)

Good to hear that there's been some progress, somewhere. I can't answer your question, but I wonder: had you sent the medical results separately? I'm puzzled that that one item would show up by itself.

As for me, I've still heard nothing from the access to information request I made.

@uccemebug: He did the medical exam in Argentina and from there the doctor sent it to Trinidad (which he explained me that his "boss" was there and thats how its supopsed to be.. cause i freaked out when i saw on the paper that Trinidad was written! loll) So yeh we included everything when we sent the application!

I also got a new line in my ecas. "Medical results have been received" I'm hopin it means the VO has lifted my file from the dusty corner and now looking at it..waiting for an 'in process' ;D

I dont know if its true but last week mu husband emailed the VO and asked a few questions along with THE question, what is the status of my application? lol they answered that it was in process! So i dont know if it will ever show up on ecas! I hope for us those medical results will mean close to the end!

No. We received the AOR saying that the delay is of 12 months.. and nothing until that ecas update of medical received! (thats why we emailed them cause we were worried that it was still on a corner waiting for someone to work on it!) Sometimes ecas is good but I dont think you can really trust it 100% to know what they're doing!

What a system. I don't think there's any "they" behind ECAS, it's just the various staff making entries to their internal system as they work on it. We just get a small view of that data. I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to the way they do updates.

It's all voodoo, I suggest that you do as I've done and resign yourself to not hearing and not worrying about it if possible. That's what I'm trying to do. 8^J

I dont think 1 email can hurt if you havent heard anything in a few months.. We emailed them on wednesday night and they answered back on friday morning.. Then we got the ecas update on tuesday. So Im not 100% sure but I dont think it will delay anything.. I like to believe that email even helped us! :P ::)
