Approved with SW-1 Visa but my original course is already closed and my school asked my to change course without Co-op

I have an SW-1 visa now as I applied for my visa with a Co-op program. But now, all the seats are taken for my current course and my school suggested to me to change to a similar course but no Co-op. Do i need to change my visa from SW-1 to S-1 to be able to enter Canada with my new LOA? Thanks
