These my be stupid questions, but I have gotten the letter form CIC that my work permit application has been approved (3 year one). I understand that it is not an authorization permitting me to enter the country as an officer will make he determination upon my arrival to Canada.
However what I am trying to figure out now is
1. whether I can arrive with an one way ticket or it is better to have a return one
2. the letter states that the officer will ask to see the approval letter and may request to see my supporting documentation. What is the supporting documentation? The items they list on the website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/arriving.asp) do not really apply as I have an open work permit, so there is no job offer or LMIA document
3. any other things I should have on me (i.e travel insurance, if so can I just get one for 3 months for example or does it have to cover certain period).
