Approval in principle for inland spousal sponsorship

I sent the application for PR and open work permit of my wife 4 months ago .I received the acknowledgement email after about 6 weeks. My wife got open work permit after 3 months but didn't receive any acknowledgement or approval in principle. Does anyone have any experience of this kind?

If you submitted an inland spousal PR sponsorship and an OWP application together, the OWP is processed immediately provided there is no immediate reason to return the PR application (ie, missing documents, missing signatures).

Inland applicants do not wait until AIP to have the OWP granted.

For an inland, nearly when they're done the process. So, maybe another six months, more or less.
