Hi Guys!

I had a little bit of confusion regarding my employment letter. I only sent Letter of Appointment which contains issued date as SEP 2008 but with my joining date mentioned on it was OCT 2008 along with my Designation and Salary details and organization terms n conditions. There is no Offer Letter. I just sent this one only. Is that fine?

Offer Letter, Appointment letter, contract, payslip or others is just a supporting documents to your Job reference letter written in your company letter head, in which also contains (Job description, Salary, Duration, Working hours per day, and of course signature of your boss or manager or superior). This reference letter is the most important, the rest is only a supporting document. (so you can submit any of that supporting documents).
 
I m just worried abt the dates. As my Appointment Letter was issued on SEP 2008 while joining date was one month later OCT 2008. Is that common?
