appointment for PR status

Hi Guys,

Revieved my passport couple of weeks back(stamped) and got this email today stating "appointment for PR status". Unfortunately the date is set for a time when I am not in country. Is there anything I can do apart from emailing CIC and asking them to rescheduling the date ?

You need to call them and set another appointment I guess because once you got your PR you have to wait until they mail your PR card you wont be able to travel without PR card

Is there a number I can reach CIC at? or is the same 18882422100 ?

Also I have not yet done my landing, only have gotten the passports stamped. I was planning to do it on the way back at Airport.

Hi,
yes, you can land on your way back to Canada. Just call CIC an tell them about your plans for landing.
