Appointment for landing question

Hi,
My parents has got their COPR . Now they need to do landing, they are already in canada so we are thinking to either do it by making an appointment to do inland landing or go to nearest port of entry (i.e. Rainbow bridge at Niagara). We are not sure yet.

I called the CIC and they advised to email the information of applicant/co-applicant to CIC and within 30 days they will send the appointment date.

My question is that, can my parents go to Rainbow bridge to do a landing if appointment date comes for far date? Is their any restriction that they cannot do landing on Niagara if they have send an email for appointment?

I think they can, but just remember that Niagara area ports of entry have restrictions on time and days of the week when you can do this flagpoling.

Thanks, yes i have checked it , i will go on those specific days only .

So, there is no problem if i take appointment date also (just to be safe side)?? Any idea how far the appointment date they give?
