Hi All

Given now that C-24 has gone into its second reading, it's become even more crucial to apply as early as possible. The worst that can happen is the law passes and you could've applied.

I'd like to hear from people who applied with less than 10 days of buffer:
1) Did you encounter any problems?
2) Did you get RQ?
3) How many days of absence from Canada do you have?

Applied the day right after I qualified.

Was planning on applying on the 1095 day exactly. However, waited for one more day, as it says "make sure you qualify the day before you send your application".

Sent my application on the 1096 day:

- Never left Canada since I came

- Never got a RQ

- Never got a request for any additional documents

- My application was finalized from the beginning to the end in 16 months

However, each case is different.
