I need advice, my wife and children have completed 1460 days. Mine will be completed after 3 month. Should I apply for my family now and later apply myself or should I wait and apply after 3 month as family? What will be the right approach? Does it really matter ?

Thanks

as for me the sooner the better coz rules can change anytime and then their will be long queue who so ever is eligible will go for it..
..it doesnt effect..

Family application does not add any value, so applying separately makes life easier: you save 3 months + delay on one family member will not be reflected on other.

3 months is a long period of time to bridge, the sooner the better; especially in the seen possible changes [C-6/C-24]. I add my voice of advice to the precedent advising members.

I would wait and apply together... a buffer period is good anyway for the family.

i like to have some buffer as well.. i have 40 days buffer as well..
but the case we are discussing..if we apply the same theory then
he has to wait for three month to make his 1460 and the rest of the family having buffer..
and after that he has to wait another month or so to make his buffer as well..
so like 4-6 month more wait to start the case... NOT wise.. my 3 cents.. :)

Thanks for advises, but why do we need for 1 month buffer? I was thinking to give max 4-5 days. will it be a problem?

No problem..if you are sure/remember about your entry/exit...
we have so many examples in our sheet with 0/1 day buffer to apply..
u can see the spreadsheet here and decide

buffer for 5-10 days is not recommended even if you are 100% sure about your entries and exits. Its always good to apply with at least 1 month or more buffer to be on the safe side.
