Applying Visitor Visa for in-laws

Hey, I am planning to bring my in-laws to Canada on visiting visa. Me and wife both PRs here, however, my wife received PR via family class sponsorship, ie I sponsored her to get PR
We are expecting a baby soon. That's the reason why I am bringing her parents here.
So my question is, am I eligible to say I can cover the financial expenses of my in-laws during their stay here?
Please advise. Wife is not working currently.

For a TRV, they need to show their own finances.
