Applying visiter visa while processing PR application

Hello experts,

Need your suggestions / advice on this one please.

I applied for PR for parents on Jan 4th, 2016. File is being processed on Ottawa now. Medical is completed on December last year.

Currently I am in a situation to support my parents immediately due to some family reason. I am not sure howlong will it take to get PR visa for my parents as there is no much update these days from Ottawa office.

So shall I apply for Supervisa or visiter visa? If I apply for visiter visa, will it impact the PR application processing?
Please let me know.

Hello, I have applied for a total of 5 visiotor visa/ visitor exstentions since I first applied for my pr, I came to Canada from the states just as a visitor, then started my pr app a year later. It didn't affect my app
