Applying under SPP after 12th - Engineering. How to prove?

Hello,

My brother who just finished his 12th is applying for a three year post secondary program under the SPP. He is waiting to take his IELTS and will apply sometime next month.

I am looking for some directions from anyone who has gone though this or has an idea. My biggest concern for his is how is he to prove that he will come back after studying given that there is no additional documents are to be submitted. We are leaning not to write an SOP since he his case is very straight forward.


Any help is appreciated.

Your brothers case seems to be simple and straight forward.

First he has just finished his +2, he is being sponsored by his parents.
All the IT and funds would be from the parents, so there is no need to worry, the parents paperwork is enough. In a situation your bro is called for an interview then worry about the reasons and the paperwork. There is a very good chance of him getting a visa.

Please ensure he gets a good score in IELTS if he want to get into as college of his choice.

We were told there is no need to show IT returns either, just pay first year or first sem fee then get $10K GIC, IELTS.
Is it required? My uncle us paying for his education therefore is paying his fees and GIC

This is for my brother; his profile is just finished 12th with 78% in science group and IELTS 7.5 overall. Applied about 12 days back and just got the PDF saying its been approved.

We didnt submit any additional documents other than what it was required, no income tax, no SOP so just the GIC and the forms.
