So currently I'm trying to apply for a SIN number. It is asking me what is my status in Canada. Should I select Temporary Resident or Other? Last time I got rejected for some reason. However I don't remember what I chose that time. If any of you applied to SIN number online, could you please share your experience with us?

I'm a protected person. However, I directly went to Service Canada instead of applying online and got it. Thanks for answering though.
