Applying to both PGWP and Sponsorship

I am recently married to a Canadian. I just applied for Post Graduate Work Permit and still waiting for the result. I am thinking of applying for sponsorship with open work permit too. But not sure if that'd work in our favor. thanks in advance.

Both applications can be processed in parallel.

Note that inland sponsorship applications are all done online. You need to wait for AOR before you can submit application for OWP.
Makes sure that you maintain a valid status. (some people ran into issue with refused PGWP)
