Applying SIN by Mail from USA

Hi All, Guru's

I currently reside in united states and have completd my landing in the past and waiting for the PR cards to arrive.

Did anyone apply SIN by mail from USA.
Do we need to mail original passports,documents for applying SIN. Is it legally allowed to mail passports from USA to Canada for applying SIN.

Any experience or suggestions will be helpful.

Probably won't work. You require a Canadian address for the delivery of the SIN.

Yes - you have to mail your original documents along with the application.
